Kylie Minogue In her first live album in 1998, Kylie Minogue performed ABBA's Dancing Queen. She also covered the song to the biggest audience of her career (live to over 1 billion people) at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.


A*Teens The Stockholm based quartet sang 12 of ABBA's songs. In May 1999, the band broke sales records in Sweden with their first single "Mamma Mia", which entered the Swedish charts at #1. After three weeks, 120,000 copies has been sold, making it the best-selling single in Sweden that year, and it stayed at #1 for two straight months. Their "ABBA Generation" album, shipped in August 1999, entered the charts at #1 and sold 3 million copies worldwide.



Jennifer Love Hewitt Her Love Song album released in 1992 included a remake of ABBA's Dancing Queen.


Westlife  At their beginnings, ABBA's "I Have A Dream" helped the new Irish band. In 1999, their album containing this song topped the charts for four weeks.


Erasure was formed in 1985. In 1992, Erasure released the Abba-esque EP, a tribute ABBA; it became their first number one single in the U.K.


Sixpence None The Richer was a rock band from Texas formed in the nineties and disbanded in 2004. They sang covers for other bands including ABBA's "Dancing Queen"
